Organic green pigments

Organic green pigments are used to obtain saturated, pure, and stable green shades in coatings, plastics, PVC, rubber, printing inks, and polymer masterbatches. They provide high color strength, shade accuracy, and long-term color durability, which is especially important for products used under various climatic and processing conditions.

Mainly this category based on phthalocyanine green pigments (Phthalocyanine Green Pigments), which allow the production of pure, bright, and reproducible green colors with a wide shade range. They are suitable for both decorative coatings and industrial systems where color stability and resistance to thermal and chemical stress are required.

Advantages of use

Organic green pigments has the following advantages:

  • high color strength and shade purity;
  • excellent lightfastness and weather resistance;
  • color stability at high processing temperatures;
  • uniform distribution in binder systems without dissolution;
  • low migration and minimal fading;
  • compatibility with various binder and polymer systems;
  • accurate shade adjustment when blended with other pigments.

These properties make organic green pigments a versatile solution for thin-film coatings, mass products coloration, and polymer compounds, ensuring uniform appearance and long-lasting color stability.

Main pigment types

Phthalocyanine green pigments

Pigment Green 7 (PG 7) — a bright grass-green shade with high tinting strength and color purity. Widely used in coatings, printing inks, and polymer compounds; offers good dispersibility and excellent lightfastness.

Pigment Green 8 (PG 8) — a dark, muted khaki-green shade with enhanced thermal stability and migration resistance. Used in industrial coatings, plastics, PVC, and masterbatch production.

Applications

Organic green pigments are used in:

  • decorative and industrial coatings;
  • architectural and protective coatings;
  • automotive paints and industrial finishing systems;
  • printing inks and specialty color scores;
  • coloring of plastics, PVC, and rubber products;
  • polymer masterbatches and composite materials.

Due to their high color strength and stability, a wide range of shades can be achieved by blending with other pigments — from bright grass green to deep dark green tones.

We offer high-quality organic green pigments with stable properties, allowing precise selection of any green undertone. We supply products throughout Ukraine both wholesale and retail, and also provide samples for testing under production conditions.
