Pigment Yellow 3 (PY-3), also known as Lightfast Yellow 10 G, is an organic monoazo pigment.
It has a cool, pure lemon yellow shade. Thanks to its high hiding power, lightfastness, and weather resistance, PY-3 is widely used in coatings, printing inks, and textile dyes.
This environmentally friendly pigment is a safe alternative to lemon chrome, as it contains no heavy metals.
The pigment provides a bright, light lemon color close to RAL 1016 (Sulfur Yellow). In combination with other pigments, it is used to achieve the following shades: RAL 1021 (Rape Yellow) RAL 1028 (Melon Yellow), RAL 6018 (Yellow Green), RAL 6017 (May Green), RAL 6024 (Traffic Green).
