Pigment Yellow 12 (PY-12) is a transparent organic diarylide azo pigment with a clean yellow shade. It is characterized by high transparency, good lightfastness, and excellent stability in both aqueous and organic media. Thanks to these properties, PY-12 is widely used in printing inks, including offset and gravure printing.
The pigment is also used in coatings and marking paints, providing color stability and uniform coloration.
Pigment Yellow 12 produces a neutral yellow tone and can be combined with other pigments to achieve RAL shades such as RAL 1004 (Golden Yellow), RAL 1028 (Melon Yellow), RAL 1012 (Lemon Yellow).
