Pigment Yellow 12, also known as Pigment Yellow 12 (PY-12), is a transparent yellow organic pigment from the diarylide azo pigment group. It features high transparency, good lightfastness, and excellent stability in organic media.
Thanks to these properties, the pigment is widely used in the production of printing inks (including gravure and offset printing), as well as in the formulation of coatings and marking materials.
The pigment provides a clean, neutral yellow shade and can be combined with other pigments to achieve colors close to the RAL 1004 (Golden Yellow), RAL 1028 (Melon Yellow), and RAL 1012 (Lemon Yellow) color systems.
