Pigment Yellow 2 (PY-2) is a warm yellow organic pigment from the monoazo group, with a reddish undertone. It features good hiding power, stability in various systems, and reliable lightfastness.

This pigment is considered an environmentally safe alternative to medium chrome yellow, as it contains no lead or heavy metals. It is widely used in the production of coatings and paints, printing inks, as well as educational and artistic materials.

Thanks to its warm, saturated hue, Pigment Yellow 2 can be used to create colors similar to: RAL 1003 (Signal yellow), RAL 1006 (Maize yellow), RAL 1007 (Daffodil yellow), RAL 1017 (Saffron yellow), RAL 1028 (Melon yellow), RAL 1033 (Dahlia yellow), RAL 1037 (Sun yellow).
