Pigment Yellow 2 (PY-2) — an organic warm yellow monoazo pigment with a reddish tint. It features good opacity, stability in various systems, and high lightfastness.
This pigment is considered an environmentally safe alternative to medium chrome yellow, as it does not contain lead or heavy metals. Thanks to these properties, PY-2 is widely used in the production of coatings, printing inks, as well as educational and artist paints.
The pigment provides a warm, bright yellow color and can be used to create shades of the RAL system: RAL 1003 (Signal Yellow), RAL 1006 (Maize Yellow), RAL 1007 (Daffodil Yellow), RAL 1017 (Saffron Yellow), RAL 1028 (Melon Yellow), RAL 1033 (Dahlia Yellow), RAL 1037 (Sun Yellow)
